Can someone help me with a translation 2023/6/13 03:03
Hello, I was thinking of getting my parent's birth years tattooed on me in japanese. These are the years 1980 and 1968. Can someone please help me

Numbers are numbers. Would you simply tattoo g1980h and g1968h on yourself?

The answers given by the above poster point to you the years going by the Japanese era (the emperorfs era), which would not really mean anything to them or to you unless they were born/grew up in Japan. Is that what you want? Or do you just want the numbers gthe year 1980/1968h written in kanji numbers?

A lot of us in Japan typically write them as 1980”N and 1968”N, if that's what your question is. And we rarely write those numbers in kanji either. The beautiful font used on this forum would look ugly as tattoos, by the way.
