Taxi Kusatsu

hello,

how much is a taxi from naganohara kusatsu guchi to kusatsu onsen?
do i need to book it in advance or just take one outside the train station?

According to one Japanese post (dated 2017) it was ￥5530. There is a taxi staging area at the train station. Check the google map.

Bus is the most common option.

You need 1100 yen bus fare from naganohara kusatsuguchi by kusakaru kotsu bus

Bus departures are timed with train arrivals.

The buses are operated by JR Kanto Bus and not by Kusakaru Kotsu

There are two Kusatsu, but only one Kusatsu Onsen. Here is the bus timetable:

長野原草津口 = Naganoharakusatsuguchi
草津温泉 = Kusatsu Onsen

FYI, bus service, to Kusatsu Onsen from Naganohara-kusatsuguchi station, is completely covered by Japan Rail Pass, and Tokyo Wide Pass .

There are Two kusatsu station.One is JR minami kusatsu st or JR kusatsu st in shiga prefecture,where my university Ritsumeikan U is Located.Where is another one kusatsu?is it in Nagano prefecture ?is it in gunma ken
