Can I use Icoca card in Nagoya , Takayama and Matsumoto.

Some local transport companies may not allow the use of those IC cards. Check when you get there to make sure.

Icoca (and the other 9 nationwide IC cards) can be used on most transportation around Nagoya, but not around Takayama, and only in a limited way around Matsumoto. It can be used to make purchases at many shops and establishments in and around all the three cities, though.
