Hi! If I may asks, at what age can you legally adopt a child in Japan? Does the requirements to be a prospective adoptive parent also depends if you're a J citizens or not a J citizens (i.e a foreigner)?

As far as i know, under the Japanese law, you need to be at least 25.

If the adoptive parent-to-be is non-Japanese, then the governing law regarding that adoption will be the law of the non-Japanese partyfs country.
