JR kyushu 100 yen day pass

Is it applicable only for children(6 to 11 years old)?By buying this 100 yen pass,can my chil d(age 10) travel whole of kyushu without extr a fare?Do you think,this 100 yen ticket cover Kyushu shinkansen and Ltd express trains base fare?

There is an all-Kyushu JR 5-day pass for children that's Y10,000 but I know nothing of a Y100 pass. Even the 1-day Fukuoka child subway pass is Y320.

It can be used only from July 21 to August 31, 2023.
It can be used by 6th grade elemenaty students and younger. I am not sure how that is applied to children going to school outside of Japan, but for other ticket it is commonly applied to children aged 11 and younger.

The ticket covers only the base fare. If you use limited express trains or the shinkansen, you need to purchase the limited express ticket separately. The Sanyo Shinkansen between Hakata and Kokura is not covered, at all.

The limited express fee for regular seats (reserved and unreserved) is 50% for children. So, your calculation is correct. There is no reduced children fee for the Green car fee, by the way.

kyushu ryokaku Tetsudou,JR kyushu is 2342 km Long.in my whole Life(either develop or developing or poor country),I never seen to 2342 km long train travel is 100 yen.so we fou nd that japanese government, bureaucrat,off icial give importance to children,as children understand ,how japan looks like.so no red tape exists in japanese system for children.

100 yen Rail Day pass is unbelievable.
We cant imagine this in United states.
Our rail company want Money ,want profit
