Typical pay for this type work in Japan? 2023/8/12 15:20
Just stumbled across this university full-time job posting and wonder if this kind of pay is typical for this sort of university-level work in Japan?

this indicates that the salary and the position may vary depending on your academic background, experiences, ages, the previous (the present) position and salary.

by the way, its position is not "tenureh. they don't hire you for more than 5 years.

I have no idea about the pay amount itself, but you might want to watch out for gFull-time. Discretionary labor systemh part - this means you will not be eligible for overtime allowance on weekdays, even if you work beyond the 7 hours 45 minutes per work day (the number of gassumedh work hours mentioned in the Japanese part).

It says it is for 5 years and that it might be renewed subject to a review.

Probably the most interesting table: https://bio.nikkeibp.co.jp/atcl/news/p1/22/08/04/09784/

As job description says N2 as a requirement you might be able to read it.

And consider youfll be in the countryside or maximum Nagano so rent wonft be that expensive as it is in Tokyo.
