Hotel - Kiso valley

Hi,
I'm trying to find a hotel in Kiso Fukushima and Narai for next May, 2024
Everything is coming up as unavailable or on hotel sites you can't even select the date
Is this because it's likely already booked or bookings are not open yet?
It's very difficult for me as I don't read Japanese- even with the website translated to English or using Google translate
Could you advise a tourist office who could do the booking for me?

Hi, it is probably because the bookings arent open yet.

We stayed at Kiso Fukushima earlier this year and really liked it. I wouldnt stay at Narai unless it was on the weekend as it is very quiet on weekdays (this was end Feb, might be livelier in warmer weather).

At Kiso Fukushima we stayed at Iwaya which is very nice with a lot of history, and also at Kaido Roman Konyado something a few doors up, which is more modern. I would stay at both again, although they are quite different. The staff were awesome at both.

Generally in Japan smaller hotels do not open their bookings prior to 3 months in advance, so no worries - options will show at this time.
