Home Exchange

Hey,

We are a family (2 adults and 1 toddler), we would like to visit Japan for 3 months and would love to do home exchange. We have a great apartment in the hearth of Amsterdam, Netherlands. Looking for a family from Japan (Preferably Tokyo or Kyoto) that would like to exchange homes for 3 months.

Is there a platform or website that we can search for families?

Booking hotels would be a better option for you because home exchange is not common in Japan at all. In fact, most Japanese people might not even know what home exchange mean.
Generally, Japanese people are not comfortable with the idea of having unknown individuals enter and use their homes. Additionally, the majority of them (myself included, unfortunately) can't take such long vacations as you're offering. Therefore, I believe that home exchange will never become popular in Japan sooner.
I came across a portal site for home exchanges, but it seems that almost all participants in Japan are foreign residents.
