Fall colours in the first week of Dec

Hello, I'll be doing a 28 day trip to Japan from 2 to 30 Dec... will be the southern parts Fukuoka to Osaka from 2 to about 12 Dec... Any chance of seeing fall colours? This website suggests that fall colours in the south persists till middle of Dec: https://jw-webmagazine.com/japan-autumn-leaves-forecast/I'll be in Hakata + Yanagawa on 2 Dec Mount Aso on 3 Dec Beppu on 4 Dec Kumamoto on 5 Dec Akiyoshida on 6 Dec Shukei-en Gardens on 7 Dec... Okayama Korakuen & Ritsurin Koen on 8 Dec... Kyoto (Sagano Scenic Railway) on 10 Dec I don't need peak colour season... getting some of it and I'll be grateful already... Just trying to manage expectations... thanks!
