Is there large locker in JR Shijo Station

I will arrived kyoto early. Hotel is only available for check-in at a later time. Hence, need a place to store big luggage first. I will be staying near shijo station so if possible I would prefer to store it there.

Bring your luggage to the hotel and ask them to store it for you until check-in. That has always worked for me at every hotel I have stayed in.
BTW, Shijo station is not on the JR Line.
