Hi. Has anyone been to Keisei Rose Garden in Chiba around mid November?
Online articles recommend going until early November but I was wondering if it’s still ok to visit around the 3rd week.
Any other similar garden you may recommend near Tokyo or Osaka? We often frequent Shinjuku Gyoen and Showa Kinen in Tokyo. We would like to see other parks with flowers in bloom.
Thanks

Nakanoshima Rose Garden in Osaka " Roses bloom twice a year in Nakanoshima Park, in spring and autumn. ・From mid to late May ・From mid to late October Full bloom depends on the weather conditions each year" https://we-love-osaka-en.com/wp/nakanoshima-rose-garden/Not sure there will be any roses left at your timeframe but maybe can check current reviews on Google Maps

I checked Keisei Rose Garden's official website calendar. It says Landscape Rose and Old Rose are in peak season full of November.

Thanks Maru. For some reason, I am unable to access their official site. The info you provided is very helpful.

If you want to see other parks with flowers, you could try the Jindai Botanical Garden. Another possibility might be Mukojima-Hyakkaen Gardens in Sumida. The Kyu-Furukawa Garden also has a famous rose garden. Still another one if your timing is good is the English Rose Garden in Yokohama (along with the preserved western buildings from over a century ago). There are other places like the Hitachi Seaside Park just beyond Mito, but you need to make sure your timing is right with the flowers in bloom. I would not skip the beautiful traditional gardens in Tokyo as well, especially Koishikawa Korakuen, Rikugien, and Kiyosumi. https://goo.gl/tAECfM

Thanks, Ken. Jindai Botanical Garden and Kyu Furukawa both look promising.
I’m saving Hitachi Seaside Park for nemophila season.
Thanks again.
