Hi, I read that pasmo can be used for android phones. Since I am flying in to KIX I will not be able to get suica or pasmo at the airport? I prefer suica as it can used widely on most different transports companies. I am not sure if pasmo can used as widely like suica. Also, can it be used on non japan android mobile? It it difficult to use and top up?

Since I am flying in to KIX I will not be able to get suica or pasmo at the airport? No, but you can get Icoca, which is essentially the same. I prefer suica as it can used widely on most different transports companies. There is no difference in the coverage area between Suica, Pasmo, Icoca and the other 7 nationwide cards. More details: https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2359_003.htmlAlso, can it be used on non japan android mobile? No! Androd phones sold outside of Japan do not have Osaifu-Keitai feature enabled, which is needed for these apps to work. And even if you had Osaifu-Keitai, the apps are difficult to impossible to use by non-residents because they require a Japanese address and - probably - a Japan-issued credit card.
