Travel Osaka from Lake Kawaguchiko?

We are going from Tokyo to Lake Kawaguchiko in early Dec. We want to spend a night there to up our chances of seeing a biew of Mt Fuji. What Im trying to work out is if I can easily then go from there to Osaka? Instead of spending another night in Tokyo first.

Hi! I believe that there are a few possible ways to travel to Kawaguchi-ko from Osaka.

1. Take a Shinkansen from Shin-Osaka to Mishima, then transfer to a highway bus to Kawaguchi-ko

2. Overnight bus (Fujiyama Liner) from Tennoji/Namba/Umeda to Kawaguchi-ko
