Oirase Gorge & Lake Towada in December

Hello.
I am hoping i got the answer from this forum. I cannot find much information about day trip to oirase Gorge and lake Towada from Hachinohe.
Is there any way we could make day trip to oirase gorge and lake towada in december? we are planning to make day trip on 20th december 2023.
as for car rental, we want to avoid as we have no experience driving on snowy road.

Public transportation in the area is not offered in December. Your only option of getting around would be by expensive taxi rides.

I agree with your decision not to rent a car, driving on snowy roads can be dangerous for those who are inexperienced.
