11 days trip to Japan

i will go to japan on end of april.. but the more i read about train/bus pass, the more i confuse..

Day 1 - arrive at osaka airport
Day 2 - osaka
Day 3 - nara
Day 4 - kyoto
Day 5 - kyoto
Day 6 - ine funya
Day 7 - takayama (shirakawago)
Day 8 - takayama
Day 9 - tokyo (fuji)
Day 10 - tokyo
Day 11- heading back to MY

which the most pass i can use?
i think for day 1 - day 5 i could buy kansai thru pass, because it can be use for train and bus..
whike day 9- day 10 i can use cuica card..

but how about my trip from
i) kyoto to ine
ii) kyoto to takayama
iii) takayama to tokyo (fuji)

did the JR Hokuriku Arch Pass is the best choice to buy.. and could use from day 5 - day 7 (7 days)

No pass will be suitable for your trip. Use an IC card to get around Tokyo and Kyoto. And one way ticketd for the rest.

With only 11 days. I'd consider dropping any city/town not close to Tokyo or Kyoto. Otherwise you spend more time traveling that you do sightseeing.

Ine for example is 3.5 hours awap from Kyoto. Not worth if for an hour or two visit. And a whole day lost.

Just re-looked at you itinerary. You actually have 9 full days only. I would only do Kyoto and Tokyo. Side trips to Osaka, Nara and Kamakura only. Anything else is gonna chew up too much travel time, leaving you little time to do much else.
