Kodai-ji bamboo grove

To be able to visit the Kodai-ji bamboo grove, do we need to pay a fee or is this portion accessible from the outside of the property ? I am trying to find the bamboo area in google maps, but I cannot locate it. Thanks !

It is part of the paid temple grounds.

Part of the paid entry - I always consider it a worthwhile visit. The grove usually has very few people around. My last couple of visits there were maybe four others at the same time.
