Overnight in Okinawa Naha airport?

- I will be staying in Okinawa Kunigami-Gun District from 4th to 9th July 2024 and the journey to NAHA airport is at least 1 hour.
- As my flight is the earliest, I'll have to be board by 7am. That means I will have to return my rental car on the 8th July.
- I've some threads on staying overnight here saying it's not allowed but that was year 2016 i think.
- May I confirm again that this ruling still applies? That means, still not allowed to stay overnight in NAHA airport?
- If so, what are the best options you can recommend me?
