Tolls covering Kyoto- Kusatsu Onsen- Tokyo

We are planning to drive between Kyoto to Kusatsu Onsen then Kusatsu Onsen to Tokyo Haneda Airport. Wondering how many tolls we will encounter, pricing and if we require anything before driving?

That�fs a lot of driving. Plus tge additional fee to drop of the car in another prefecture. If (!) you are doing this eg over 2 weeks AND (!) visit mostly rural places between Kyoto and Kusatsu it makes sense. But if you only visit the 3 spots you have described use public transport. Either all the way or just rent a car closer to Kusatsu.
Also wondering if you can�ft find another onsen town a bit more where you already are. Eg Shuzenji in Izu peninsula would come to mind. Again, no car needed.
