Hokuriku Arch Pass 2024/2/7 13:12
I'm planning to travel from Osaka to Kyoto to Matsumoto/Nagano then to Tokyo in June 2024. Tokyo will be my final stop.

Is it well covered if I buy Hokuriku Arch Pass and is it worth it?

Please advice

The section between Nagano and Matsumoto is not covered:

Also, regular tickets would be somewhat cheaper than the Arch Pass.

Osaka to Kyoto to Matsumoto/Nagano then to Tokyo
Osaka to Kyoto is covered and Nagano to Tokyo, but not the piece in the middle. Kyoto to Matsumoto would usually be via Nagoya and Matsumoto to Tokyo direct is much cheaper than going to Nagano before returning to Tokyo.
IMO the Hokuriku Arch Pass has always been a pretty useless pass given how specific the route is and only work if you are making a round trip via this rather lengthy detour.
