RC card expiry and dependent COE application

Hi,

I have applied for a dependent visa even though my RC card will expire within 3 months. I will be applying for RC extension within few weeks. I would like to know if there will be any complications regarding the dependent COE or validity. Also when the dependent enters Japan, what will be the validity of her RC?

Sorry I am confused.
1) you are living currently in japan on some type of work residence permit?
2) your residence card is expiring soon and you�fll apply for extension soon
3 ) your spouse is not living in Japan and has applied for a COE as your dependent

Yes I am currently in Japan on an engineer visa. and I am applying COE for my dependent

RC renewal should be no problem unless you have major changes. whether you get longer period of stay no one can tell
applying is no problem, approval is another thing but no one guarantee can approval.
as long as your RC is valid.
