Translating a symbol

No place to submit a picture so I'll try my best to describe. There are an obvious left and right side to the symbol. The left side is predominate with a "T" and under each end of the top part of the "T" are 2 non-connecting lines going straight down. Above the "T" is another horizontal line so it would look like 2 horizonal lines with 3 vertical lines under, with the center vertical line connecting with the lower of the 2 horizontal lines. The right side shows a square at the bottom with 4 equal openings inside, sitting at each corner, or stacked 2 on 2. Sitting directly on top and connected is a smaller vertical rectangle with 3 stacked openings and the top line is a little longer horizontally than the rectangle. I was told it was Japanese. Thanks for any assistance!

Thank you. The left side is the same, but the right side has vertical lines connecting the top line to the bottom square. It is so close and the best match, I appreciate your help and quick response! Thank you.

Thanks, I know how to upload photos, it's probably because I am a guest and not a logged in member, there is no place to upload to attach to this thread that I can find.

Even as a guest you can copy a link in your text. So upload your picture somewhere and the copy paste the link here. Otherwise itfs really hard to understand what you mean Potentially it could also help if you let us know where you saw that kanji.

Shelly, This forum doesn't allow anyone's photos to be "attached". As LikeBike suggested, you can upload your photos on a free photo uploading site. Here is an example of such a site. https://imgbb.com/Once you've uploaded your photo on a site, you'd gain a link address typically starting with "http...". Then you can type that link on your post. Here is an example of someone posting a link to the poster's photo. https://www.japan-guide.com/forum/quereadisplay.html?0+179752
