Hokuriku Arch Pass

I'm travelling through the area; Day 1: Kyoto to Kanazawa, spending 2 days there (assume it covers days 2 & 3 local buses/trains) then Day 4: Kanazawa to Takayama, spending 2 days with return day trip to Shirakawa-go, Day 6: then on to Tokyo. Day 7: trains within Tokyo - assume covered? The 7 day Hokuriku pass seems like a good option but I'm not sure if it covers the leg to Takayama and the bus to Shirakawa-go from there. And therefore if the pass is more than the cost of individual tickets.
Any advice would be appreciated.

The Arch pass cost a lot more than regular tickets (at 25,000 yen) and really only pay-off if doing a round trip. A one-way trip doesn't work. Plus, if going to Takayama, there are cheaper way to get to Tokyo - bus to Matsumoto and train to Shinjuku springs to mind.

Forgot about the price increase! Yes, that makes regular tickets considerably cheaper.

Thank you all so much for your comments, it has really helped me make a final call. I leave tomorrow so wanted to secure the pass before it becomes unavailable within Japan and the price increase! The fact that it doesn't cover Takayama to Shirakawago is a deal breaker! Thanks JapanCustomTours for tip on cheaper travel to Tokyo, a route I never considered.
Would the 5 day Takayama Hokuriku Tourist pass be a better option for my route? At least it covers the Takayama Shirakawago route and I assume trains and local buses in Kanazawa and Takayama. Thanks!

Would the 5 day Takayama Hokuriku Tourist pass be a better option for my route?Have you checked the price of individual tickets? Kyoto-Kanazawa is roughly 7k, Kanazawa-Takayama 4k and the pass is 19k. You're veeery far from making the pass pay off. It would work if you were going back to Kyoto or Osaka. This page lists the options from Takayama to Tokyo : https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e5908.htmlI did it via Matsumoto (nice town), but there's also a direct bus to Tokyo (see above).

Oh by the way, you can visit Shirakawa-go between Kanazawa and Takayama. You don't need more than 4 hours there (even 2h is enough) and you can store your luggage at the bus terminal. That leaves you with one full day in Takayama. Reservation for the bus can be done online https://www.nouhibus.co.jp/route_bus/takayama-shirakawago-line-en/Note: "gTakayama-Hokuriku Area Tourist Passh and hSHORYUDO Bus Passh holders cannot use web reservation. If you want to make a reservation, please make a phonecall as follows." (In case you needed another reason to not buy the pass).
