I am wondering if it is possible to take the Sunrise overnight train to go to Tokyo. If i have to take a train to a stop, I don't mind, because I would like the experience. On the condition
that you successfully reserve your berth compartment or seat,
you can board Sunrise Seto - Izumo
at Himeji, Sannomiya (in Kobe), or Ōsaka.
Kinosaki is close to the northern coast of Hyōgo Prefecture.
Tōkyo bound Sunrise Seto - Izumo,
after the coupling at Okayama,
runs along the southern coast of Hyōgo Prefecture,
making stops at Himeji and Sannomiya.
Catching the earliest Hamakaze train,
you can get to Himeji in the morning,
visit Himeji Castle and nearby Kōko-en Garden,
head to Sannomiya in the afternoon,
explore Kobe (and have a night view if weather is fine),
go back to Sannomiya,
and board Sunrise Seto - Izumo just after the midnight.
I will be traveling in the west part of Japan for my first month of my trip in Late April / May. During the Golden Week,
it may be difficult to reserve a berth compartment or Nobi-nobi seat,
especially the latter.
