2024 Nozomi Train with Pass

Hello,

I'm wondering if in 2024, the Nozomi Shinkansen trains are completely included with no extra fee? According to Japan-guide, the Kansai-Hiroshima & Setouchi passes include:
"Unlimited use of the Sanyo Shinkansen (including Nozomi and Mizuho) between Shin-Osaka and Hiroshima", which certainly makes it seem like there would be no extra fees. I can find no mention of extra fees anymore on the passes on this website. However other websites (outdated) seem to imply it could be up to 4000 yen on top of the already 22000 yen pass for each trip on the Nozomi Train.

I'm in the grey area of whether the pass is worth it -- Need to get from Fukuoka to Osaka, one way. So thinking of buying the regular fare from Fukuoka to Hiroshima + the Kansai-Hiroshima pass so that I can go off and explore some small coastal towns, ferries, just jump on trains and get lost.

My follow up question, does anyone have a website with the actual official 2024 prices for trains in Japan? The Smart-Ex website seems to be the official website, but you can only see prices after creating a membership with a credit card that has the Japanese 3D Security feature (tried a brand new Visa, MC, and AMEX, none of them are compatible). Specifically I am looking for Fukuoka-Hiroshima, and Hiroshima-Osaka, as well as relevant pass prices and the cost of upgrading onto the Shinkansen train for those routes, if applicable.

I know I may catch some flak for this, but I searched for an answer and didn't get much beyond 2016.

Yes, the Nozomi is and always has been included in the Setouchi Area Pass and all other JR West rail passes that cover the shinkansen. It is clearly stated on the official website and the japan-guide.com page about the pass:

The only pass that excludes the Nozomi (or better: makes you buy a huge supplement fee) is the nationwide Japan Rai Pass.

Passes normally won't pay off going one direction. Unless you go some backtracking within an itinerary.
