Anyone have details on bus from
chitose airport direct to niseko
hirafu. We are arriving late afternoon. tks

新千歳空港 means New Chitose Airport
ニセコひらふ means Niseko Hirafu

The buses operate daily until April 1. Only the yellow colored service also operates on weekends and public holidays between April 7 and 22 and everyday from April 28 to May 6.

The one way journey takes about 2.5 hours and costs 2300 Yen. A round trip ticket for 3850 Yen is also available, as well as several package deals that combine the bus journey with lift passes, etc.

Do you know how to book the bus & lift package if one doesn't read Japanese? At 4900 Yen return it seems very good value, but can I just turn up at New Chitose Airport and book with the bus co desk? If I call the relevant bus company(s) is there likely to be anyone who can speak English?

If the bus is not booked out, you should probably be able to get a pass just before departure at the bus counter at the airport.

The particular page introduces three types of packages:

1) Niseko Annupuri Daytrip Bus Pack
bus round trip + 8 hour ski pass for the Annupuri resort
Cost: 3900 yen

2) Niseko Higashiyama Daytrip Bus Pack
bus round trip + 8 hour ski pass for the Higashiyama resort
Cost: 3900 yen

3) Niseko All Mountain Daytrip Bus Pack
bus round trip + 8 hour ski pass for all three resort
Cost: 4900 yen

All of the above are packages for daytrips as opposed to multi day stays. All require advance reservations.
