kanbayashi to takayama

hi - can anyone help with advice to get from Kanbayashi to Takayama; bus route/timetable? Also any suggestions on accommodation in Kyoto

Kanbayashi? The hot spring and ski resort in Nagano?

Yes I think so - we travel from Matsumoto to Kanbayashi to see the snow monkeys

The following is the fastest route, and also very scenic:

1) Take the bus or train to Nagano (about 1 hour)
2) Take the bus or train to Matsumoto (about 1 hour)
3) Take the bus to Takayama (about 2.5 hours)
