Helicopter/ scenic flights

Flying over Japan on regular jets I have noticed that much of the landscape can be quite beautiful in the right season.
Anyone know: is it possible to take scenic flights by helicopter or light aircraft in Japan (other than Tokyo)?

Good links. I am sorry to be so slow in acknowledging. I actually wrote a response which disappeared into nothing. I do appreciate it.
The Matsushima link in particular looks interesting.
I can think of several places in Japan that must look fascinating from above: Mt Aso, Nagasaki/Unzen; the Inland Sea; Lake Biwa; Ise-Toba; Hakodate; Yamagata; Shiretoko; battle sites ....
If anyone has any other links, please let me have them.
