Most specifically, I am looking for a place to buy either goat milk or rice milk. I am stocking up for a lactose-intolerant baby at the start of a 2-week journey through country areas.
I already know how to get soy milk. I am looking for the other types, as well as organic baby ceral and other things unlikely to be found in the hinterland.
We are flying into KIX and out from Atami, with 1 overnight in Osaka city.

Thanks - I will clip that site and use if necessary.
I'm 'old school', though. I like to look in a shop, and ask questions to the staff. A lot of questions!
But this is useful. I now know that we can get what we need. Interesting that the brands are the same as we buy in Australia.
By the way, is there a word for 'Natural Food Store' or organic food store in Japanese?
Or for the kind of shop where peopl e buy natural supplements and dried food.

And natural and organic foods are still new in Japan. That's why many products are imports.

You are a goldmine of information, up there in Uji class.
We'll be OK for language - a Japanese speaker is among us, although not 'kuwashii' about specialty shops.
This is perfect.
