Can a two-year-old toddler go to an onsen and get in the tub? Is the water likely to be too hot?

Check at home with your own bathtub filled with water at 42 degrees celsius. And of course toddler shall not wear pampers.

Water temprature and the natural chemicals contained varies. Some facilites have more than one tubs so that you can enjoy the difference. You are free to just shower the toddler without letting him/her dip in.
