My brother and I are planning to go to Tokyo in mid or late May, or early June. Is this a good time to travel? Would it be the peak season?
And this is our plan so far. I hope its not too pack, because I would hate to be rushed to go from this place to that place.
Day 1. Arrive in Narita, ride the train to Asakusa, where the hostel we will be staying at will be. Then walk around Asakusa and walk to Akihabara too.
Day 2. Harajuku-Shibuya-Shinjuku
Day 3. Tsukiji-Ueno zoo-Ameyoko Ameyoko is not too far from the Ueno zoo, right?
Day 4. Ginza-Roppongi Is it possible to walk from Ginza to Roppongi?
Day 5. Yokohama
Day 6. Odaiba I am not sure if this is good, can you spend the whole day in Odaiba?
So, overall, does it look okay? Too rushed? Thanks

Hey there.
I would sat the walk from Asakusa to Akihabara is a bit too long. Take the train (Yamanote line). Also, when you get here, make sure you have some time to rest the first day. Welcome to Japan and have a really nice stay.

Thanks Roger. Also, do you think Odaiba takes the whole day to explore/walk around? i don't know if I should just leave that day as is, or plan other events to go with it.

I forgot. Trains are really cheap in Japan and they are both safe and clean make sure you get a good train map and use the trains too. Walking is always possible but you'll lose a lot of time... And... I wouldn't miss Kamakuraif I were you. Tokyo is just like most big cities... Big. Kamakura and Nikko are all easy t get to from Tokyo where you'll be staying so I would drop some of the Tokyo tours and see them instead. They are more Japanese in every way.
Be well Roger

You CANNOT walk from Ginza To Roppongi. Too far. take the subway. Costs about 2 dollars. takes 5 minutes.
When your in Ginza, take Marunouchi Line to Kasumigaseki Station, Then take Hibiya Line to Roppongi. Easy.
YES. You can spend a day in Odaiba and its lots of fun. Get a Yurikamome transport day pass for 8 dollars and ride all over Odaiba all day.
Ameyoko is only 3 minute walk from Ueno station, so if your going to Ueno, its the easiest thing to see possible.
You can walk the whole Ameyoko market in less than 1 hour.
