Kerrianne,
Japan would be "じゃぱん", but I presume you really want to write "Nippon" in hiragana? If so, it would be "にっぽん".
It is more usual to write it in kanji, though.

As mentioned its more usual just to write the kanji for it: 日本
Also remember the name Japan is a exonym meaning it is not used by the Japanese , but rather Nippon or less informally Nihon.
