絶対(insert name)のが賢いって。

i'm not entirely sure what that means.is it a statement, compliment, what is it?the context was different ages of friends, and how the slightly older person may be wiser. thank you!

Reading that it was a comparison, I am guessing it must have been: 絶対(insert name)の方が賢いって。(I've added one kanji.)

It means "I am telling you, definitely (name) is wiser/smarter."

"...って" or "...ってば"is used for making a strong assertion, an emphatic statement.
