Substitute for Geta?

I have just purchaced a Yukata, but since I have large-ish feet I think I would need to buy a custom-sized Geta shoes. Since I don't have the money to do this yet, is there a sutible substitute I could wear in the meantime?

Japanese girls wear all kinds of modern sandals with their yukata, including as Dave said, ordinary flip flops.
