They're typically "kea" and "komyuniti". It would help if you can give us some more context.

Care and community would definitely have different translations depending on the context- what kind of care? of who or what? What kind of community?

For Care I mean in terms of nurtureing someone or something or giving someone or something attenetion.
For community I am looking to translate what a community center or communty plaza would be.

In that case, I think "kea" would do. If you are writing in alphabet, it would be written "care". And also those places are called and written as "community center" and "community plaza" in Japan as well. I hope this answers your question.
