To be *very* precise, "kazoku de" and "kazoku to" are slightly different, though in English translation it does not make a big difference.

"...de" in this usage means "together in." So if you say "kazoku de," it means "my family altogether (including myself)," and if you say "kazoku to," it means "me WITH my family" (in this case "family" does not include myself).

Some more examples of this usage would be:
- Kurasu zen'in de paatii wo shimashita. (The whole class held a party together.)
- Minna de ikimashou. (Let all of us go together.)
