Digital Camera Charger

Canada to Japan with digital camera - will my charger work properly = I know the prongs are the same - voltage is different - will this effect the charge - ?? will not last as long??

It depends what is written on your charger. The main voltage is 100 V in Japan, so if the charger is rated for 100 V to 250 V, as most are, you will have no problem. Charging will just take a bit longer for lower supply voltages.
