teaching korean in japan 2007/10/7 05:38
hi there.

i'm wondering if anyone has information how to find a korean-teaching job in japan.

i have two ma's in linguistics, one from a university in korea, the other from the states.

am i qualified for a korean-teaching position, if any, in japan?

Yes, you're qualified.
But you need a visa or else you can't teach.

Here's a good place to start:

&

Here's a Korean language school:

I have to sisters in Japan right now, and my oldest was a Korean teacher for 2 and 1/2 years.

I hope this helps. If you need anything else...I'll help you!

JET Programme 2007/10/7 13:14
When I was on the JET Programme, I met two ALTs from Korea also on the programme. They taught Korean in two senior high schools in my prefecture. It might be worth checking out the JET programme.
