Japanese Visa Problem. 2007/10/13 08:48
I planing to move to Japan When I'm 17-18 but many wall has been put up such as obtaing certain visa and passport, etc. But even though all those obsticle I plan to move there as a student. Finding a college is easy but have to live there unable to work is the problem. The law in Japan require me to have a work Visa and I must be get a Japanese citizen to supervise What do I do?

If you enter Japan with a student visa, have good grades and attendance, at a later point you can apply for permission to engage in other activities ... etc, basically this allows you to work part-time only (limited to a few hours a week), but it is a start. After you graduate and get a bachelors degree you can get a full work visa if you wanted.
