I planning to travel to Japan in Dec - arrival in Osaka (3nte), Kyoto(2nte) and to tyoko (3nte) , should i buy the JR 7 days pass or should I buy as when I want in Japan and not worth of buying the pass .

If you leave Japan from Tokyo, then regular tickets come considerably cheaper than a rail pass:
