where can i find pictures or explanations on the brands used to mark the climbing sticks on mt fuji?

do a google image search for mt fuji walking stick. I found this page that way that has a good pic of a walking stick: http://kevinjames.wordpress.com/2007/08/22/mount-fuji/Looking at my stick it seems that they are the names of the stations or shop where you got the brand and sometimes an elevation. They tend to stamp them in the order you receive them so you can see the exact path you took to get up the mountain (not that there is much chance for variation though).
