We are moving to Tokyo in June 2008 and are visiting next month for a 'look/see'. We have been invited to dinner at a future co-worker's home. What type of gift do we bring?

It is easy for us to answer your question, if you tell us your nationality or where you are from.
ex. chocolate and wine mostly welcomed for Japanese wife and family.
But something special from your region is more welcomed, I think...

Yeah, giving chocolates.wine is fine, but try to give them something special or that is unique to your country. I.e something they won't find in Japan.
