2 black guys grabbed my camera

I was walking down takeshita dori in harajuku today with my camera slung around my neck when these 2 burly black guys holding placards suddenly ran up t o me as I walked past them and grabbed my camera. They just kept shouting 'zakka, zakka!'
I just grabbed it back and continued walking.
What in the world was that about?

Saus,
"zakka" means "accessories", as in what many of the shops on that street sell. I don't know why the guys grabbed your camera, but some of the shop owners can be quite aggressive in getting people (especially girls) to look in their shops.
