Can somebody help with this? I am preparing a present for a friend in Japan. If I write "For Keiko" in kanji, would this be correct?

TM,
I think "へ" (i.e. "to") rather than "のため" would be more usual.
Also, while it will depend on your relationship with the person, I would suggest using "chan/san/sama" as appropriate.
