we have 9 days. we will be leaving tokyo, would like to visit nagoya, kyoto, okayama, hiroshima, miyajima, takamatsu, and himeji castle.
can i go to all the places on JR rail pass? or i need to buy extra ticket? is 9 days enough? where do you suggest to stay?

A seven day JR Pass can bring you to all those places in 7 days. However, you wont be able to spend too much in each place.
