JR Pass Required for Tokyo-Osaka-Kyoto ? 2007/11/11 15:17
Hi,
I will travel with my family (Total 4 = 2-adult and 2-kid) in December.
Tokyo - 5 nights (1 Dec.)
Osaka - 3 nights (8 Dec.)
Kyoto - 6 nights (11 Dec.)
Can anyone pls advise me the most effective way to travel between these 3 cities. Do I need only one 7-day JR Pass across these 3 cities (between 6 Dec. and 12 Dec.) or do I need one for JR-East and one for JR-West(Kansai). In other words, what's the most cost-effecitve way to travel by Shinkenshin between these cities ?

Travel within 7 days from Tokyo to Osaka to Kyoto to Tokyo with JR Pass and you can travel hikari shinkansen between these cities in cost efficient way.
