What does tarii mean? 2007/11/28 13:37
It's in katakana and used in ''tarii kara da yo''
I think it's something like boring (or some other lame excuse kids use these days for not wanting to do something). But not too sure.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it is "Kattarui or Kattarii" short version and it means "Mendokusai" or very troublesome. Origin of word is "Kahina Dayushi" and it transformed to kattarui.

This word is used among teenagers mostly.

Kattarui (or tarui) is a very ugly slang term so I hope you don't use it yourself.
