Ryokan booking Help in Kyoto 2007/12/1 06:41
Hello,
This is my first time in Japan and so far I've secure all the hotel but Jan 1st. I've sent out at least 20 emails to all kind of hotel, inn an dryokan but so far I don't get that many response. Anyone know if there'a a place 1 room for 2 people to stay in Kyoto? It'll be nice is Ryokan, but we won't demand too much for such a holiday. Budget for 1 room 2 people less than Y50000.
Help please!

Gion/Higashiyama ku 2007/12/1 15:44
Get on goole earth and check the hotel/accomodation box on the list. gion and higashiyama are the best places to stay. Accomodation are marked as red beds so double click on one and it will popup then double click on the name and it will display a google search page of results. Many have an english page.

Gion & higashiyama ku as East of JR Kyoto station.

Kyomizudera is the most famous temple in the area.
