Hi, I am looking of the most value for money JR subway pass. I am visitng Fukuoka next week, i am aware of the 3 days and 5 days JR pass. but was wondering is there any other cheaper pass because I am only going from Hakata to Beppu(optional), Nagasaki, Kumanoto,daizaifu. I saw alot of pass on the JR website but i can't understand jap very well. can someone help to translate What does the pass below cover? 普通券 (片道、往復) 回数券 (普通、パル6) 乗り継ぎ割引(地下鉄・貝塚線) パルカード40 島原連絡乗車券 よかネットカード http://www.nishitetsu.co.jp/train/default.htm

It's best you don't think of it as a "subway pass", as JR doesn't run the subway systems in the cities and the pass can't be used on the subways, just the above ground trains run by Japan Rail.

My plan is to visit the places below.
Looks like I do not need to buy any JR Rail passes at all right?
Day 1 : Hakata to Kumamoto ・Castle museum, Mt Aso
Day 2 : Hakata to Nagasaki (how to go?)
Day 3: Hakata to Dazaifu (nishitetsu highway bus )
Day 4: Hakata to Marinoa City (nishitetsu highway bus : 40 mins?)
Day 5: Hakata to Beppu (how to go?)
