Hi everyone,
I'm currently on exchange in Japan and i'll be finishing my studies here in a couple weeks, but i'm gonna be staying because my girlfriend's here in japan as well she's studying for another semester. I'm on a 1 year student visa which expires late next year 2008. I was just wondering when i finally leave japan some time next year, will customs/immigration know i'm no longer studying even though i'm on a 1 yr student visa, and start questioning why I didn't leave after my studies? Sorry I'm bad at explaining thing hope it's not too confusing. Thank you for any responses in advance!!

As long as you do nothing illegal, e.g. illegal work, nobody will mind that your studies finished a few months before the expiry date of your visa.
