Kyoto Garden Hotel or Toyoko-Inn Gojo?

Hi,

Any comments on these two hotels? Trying to decide.

Heard about the lock-out time at Toyoko-Inn, can we request for no room cleaning to avoid the lock-out?

Toyoko-Inn is cheaper and has free internet access in the room. However, Garden's location seems more convenient. Is it worth paying the extra for Garden's location or is Toyoko-Inn Gojo good enough?

I use Toyoko-inn all the times and the lock up doesn't bother me as, in all my many many years of travelling I have never been in a hotel during the day. This is one hotel chain that I use even if I have to go a bit out of the way..
I love their free breakfast, the air conditioning unit in the rooms (heats or cools), the toilet-bidet etc. they also have free computers in the lobby, with a free printer. I last used Toyoko-inn in October 2007 for 2 weeks
